Hi Summer,

I've been reading your posts about your illness and I was wondering if you've thought about Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. That certainly causes fever, discharge and cramping. I would get to the dr. asap, PID can damage your reproductive organs by causing scarring.

Sorry to butt in, just a thought for you.

: : : : Hi Summer,

: : : : How has your fever been the rest of the day? Are you feeling any better? Have you decided to go to the ER if your doctor won't see you soon?

: : : : Take care.

: : : Well it was up to 103.4 i couldnt belive it, but ronin told me to take a cool bath but i just put a cold wash cloth on my forhead, and she told me to drinks lots of water in cause it is a kidney infection. But i promised her that i would call my doctor tomorrow. Its 100.7 right now all i have is cramping and discharge.

: : I hope everything goes well. Be very careful if your fever keeps going past 103. If it keeps going up again, I would go to the ER; it can cause rheumatic heart disease. I had a best friend who would not listen and did not go to the ER and she got rheumatic heart disease and had to have her mitral valve replaced. This was with a fever of 103.2. I have also seen it happen in patients I took care of. These were healthy individuals. You may need IV antibiotics if the infection is severe.

: : Take care.

: yeah thats why i madeher rpomise me kep up on the water tyl ever 4 hours strict and cool clothes...and call the doc in the am...asap...tell him ur comingin cause ur sick..period..and go in, summer dont forget tyl eveery 4 hours or u will give ur temp a chance to rise andu dont want that..and drink till u peeing water falls...((hugs)) and u better let meknowur ok
