: My kids have ALL of them, except for the 2 new ones that just came out. I try and limit my kids tv to "educational programming". Basically Sesame Street, The Bear in the Big Blue House, and The Wiggles (even though they're not really educational in nature, lol), maybe a couple of other programs. The bulk of what they watch are videos. I think the Baby Einstein collection is wonderful and both of my kids (age 3 and 21 months) just love them.

: : Do any of your babies watch the Baby Einstein videos? I have a couple, DH wants to get our son the WHOLE collection. I don't think that is necessary. There is enough TV in kids' lives these days.

You're right, the Baby Einstein videos are good and my baby loves it too, but I'm so paranoid that he'll get addicted to it. It happened to my daughter when she was a toddler. She had a Sesame Street video and a few others that she loved. She wanted to watch them ALL the time and she would scream and yell when I turned them off. I had a tough time getting her out of the habit. My ten month old loves TV too and he starts to cry when I turn it off. But this time I am firm and I turn the TV off the instant the video comes to an end and I carry him to a different room and distract him with toys. This is why I do not want my hubby to get all the Baby Einstien videos because I'm so worried that he will get addicted to it like my daughter.
