Okay, Wendy, I read about your baby's heart. I think it's quite common for the heart to skip a beat. That even happens in adults. I think the doctor is just being cautious. He just wants to make 100% sure that everything's all right. But it sounds like your testing went well. They can see a lot on sonograms, esp. when the baby is this big. WOW, I can't believe your little one is already 6.5 lbs. He will be a big boy! :) That's wonderful!

I had to have a fetal EKG b/c the doctor discovered that he had SUA--single umbilical artery--there are supposed to be 2 arteries, but Colin's umbilical cord only had one. I was scared sh*tless, believe me. One thing that can go with that condition is a heart or kidney problem. So I was very, very scared. But he was (and is :) ) fine! I know it can be scary when the doctor finds something like that. But I really think your little guy is just fine. His name is Bruce, right? Am I remembering that correctly? :) Sleep deprivation is making me stupid....

I am so excited for you; you're so close now. One more month or less! Are you ready for the birth? Have you taken any classes? Are you getting pretty big?
