Hi Phil!

My girls used to behave like angels and time-outs or being sent to their room and rewards used to work like a charm. Now they have turned into little exorcists. I went to the mall today after their nap so they were not tired, took them to eat, and my 2-year-old screamed her head off because she did not want to sit down but run around the whole place and even tried to walk out a few times. I could not get her to stop screaming. Everyone in the place was giving me dirty looks. I took her to the bathroom and told her that we could go back outside when she stops crying and behaving herself. I took her back out. She was okay for a minute and screamed again and could get her stop. I felt sorry for my 3-year-old who was eating and very well behaved. I am beginning to worry. My brother, sister, and I were spanked as a child and we turned out good. My mother and father always try to tell my husband and I that we should spank, but I haven't and don't know if I ever will, although it has crossed my mind before like many parents.

Let me know if you find something that really works.

Thank you.
