When a child moves from breast milk it tends to be a bit harder on there systems as with formula. Give fruits *pears, bananas* and juice *pears, apple juice* to help alittle. Do not be surprised if you see some blood for a bit . Once his body gets used to solids it will adjust .... Just the waiting game
: My 6 month old has been eating solids for a month now, he eats jarred vegetables and fruits. At first he had one stool that was a good mix between nursing stool and solids stool, but after that they were round little turds already. The first few times he seemed to be uncomfortable passing them, and now he seems to do a lot of grunting, when it seems like he is trying to pass a stool, but with often no result but once every two days on average. I just thought his stools would not be this dense this soon. He eats 2 to 3 times a day and I still nurse him 4 times a day. Is he not getting enough fluids, is he constipated? Oh and he seemed to have a touch of blood when I wiped him today. It's either that or carrot... it was very light thus hard to tell. He is going to the doctor tomorrow anyway for a well baby check up but I wanted to hear what you all had to say.
