Robin, I'm not sure of exactly what you mean. If you are talking about the harness that has the "leash" on it so they cant get away from you while you're in a store or something, then I'm not sure how that would work in a car seat. I've seen them but dont have one. Can you explain further for me?

: : I posted about this awhile ago and now I'm looking to revisit the subject. My daughter who is 3 has figured out how to escape from her car seat. I have done everything (including giving her a spanking, lol - I really did) I can possibly think of to curtail this problem and nothing has worked. I've looked for products that stop this, I've visited websites for specialized products for the car for the physically disabled to see if they had anything, I've used Phil's suggestion and duct taped the straps below the buckle (She just worked at the tape and got it off), I've tried giving her toys in the car, and I've even sewed another buckle to the straps (like a backpack buckle) underneath the chest buckle so she could not move it down and then my friends husband who is on the police force told me that it was illegal and I had to take it off - safety reasons, if there's ever a crash they cant have all of those buckles holding her in.

: : So now what, it's not like I can restrict her from being in the car.

: : Any more suggestions?

: have u tried harnessing her andusing the straps all the way to the back of the car seat where she cant reach them..u know the baby harness that everyonehates..i think u needitnow
