Being a first time mom is a wonderful thing. Not just the first time all the time. You have two option here: 1. To make them happy take one. If you know who the father is then you dont need to worry about it but to make people happy get one. It wont hurt 2. The choice not to take one. But that might leave into where the bf wont be involved with the baby or you after the birth unless he ignores his family.

Does he believe the baby is his? Just wondering

: I am 18 years old and will be becoming a first time mom at the end of the month... I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years and am very close to his family but there is a problem ever since i became pregnant his family is now saying they want a paternity test because they dont believe that my baby is his. I dont now how to handle this situation it just hurts so bad that after 4 years they would insist something like that this is the point in my life when i need him the most I dont feel it necessary to do a paternity test for the sake of my reputation that makes me look like im some kind of cheater and will give me a name and not only that i feel embarrased to take one i dont want my Dr.'s to think i dont know who my babys dad is if anyone has been through this please comment i need some advice on what to do...
