Hi Shana,

I had the same problem with my son at around the same age. I changed him to a booster seat, and had him sit at the kitchen table with us. At first I used the trey that came with it (only for about a week or two), then pushed him right up to the table. As for him refusing food, I think that's pretty common. Both of mine do the same thing. Some days they eat what I consider to be no food at all (like breakfast only) and other days they eat all day long. I think it's just the age and stage of his development now.

Good luck!!

Debbie

: I need HELP FAST! DS is over a year and stands in his highchair constantly. He has already ripped the pad off of it! He thinks it is the coolest thing to do. He has come very close to falling out. I am learning the bigger the deal I make of it, the more he does it. So I have started to ignore it. But yesterday he only ate a meal at 9:30 am... and wouldn't eat again till almost 8 that night. He refuses food when does this too! Any ideas out there on how to make meals more fun for him? To keep him more entertained while in there? Thanks!
