: 1) I am breastfedding and I wanted to know if it is normal to have sore breasts and some pain in the first few weeks? The baby is latching on correctly, but she eats so much that my nipples are not keeping up too well with all the feedings. By the way, my little one gained one pound 10 ounces in the first week she was home, she eats a lot! :) Is this disconfort going to improve with time?-------------

(My breasts inproved by week 2, If they are very sore try expressing some milk and give it to her through a bottle(

: 2)My dh wants to take the baby out and I am a little reluctant because she is only a week and a few days old. I suggested we waited until she was at least a month old, but he thinks I am being over protective and I need to get out of the house. When did you start taking your baby out (grocery shopping, church, etc), and am I being paranoid? I guess I am scared she will get a bug or something and get sick. ------------

(My first daughter i took out when she turned 7 days old, She never got ill or sick.
My second daughter was only 3 days old when i had to take her out due to having a older child at school and i had to pick her up etc, She was fine too. I dont see no problem why you shouldnt take her now, Getting freash air and a nice walk does the world of good when you just had a baby)

: 3) My little one is still small but I am already sad because she seems to be growing up too fast. She lost her umbilical cord yesterday and I was sad about it. Does anyone else feels like their kids are growing up fast? I just wish she could be a newborn for a little longer. Maybe it is all the hormones getting to me hugh?

( Awwww bless, Yes they do grow up very fast my little girl will be 1 in a few weeks and its gone really fast i can't belive its been a year already. You should go out for a nice walk with your little girl you might feel a whole lot better)

Best wishes
Kelly M
