Its my Daughters first birthday next week and i have a problem.
When i was 6 months pregnant there was a really big aurgment with my inlaws and they stopped talking to us. When i had the baby they would not even see her and snub us in the street. At christmas they brought the baby gifts which i acceped as i thought it would all die down. Well even to this day over a year later they still refuse to talk to us and still not met our baby and contune to ignore her when we see them in the street but they don't ignore my 7 yr old daughter.
My motherinlaw talks to us and see the baby when she can be bothered, She even asked me what date is my baby birthday. Anyways i know the rest of the inlaws are going to buy the baby presents i told my husband that we should not accept them and sent them back, as they dont know my daughter my daughter don't know them. My husband agrees, But i know this will piss my motherinlaw off as theses are her sisters.
Im just curious what would you do, Send them back or accept them?
Sorry for going on.
Thanks for any input
