: Hi Debbie!

: I believe it was you who posted a while back ago about your kids not staying in their car seat. Now I know exactly how you felt. My 2-year-old girl just started doing that and I have 2 different car seats and she gets out of both. It makes me very nervous. I will be driving and all of sudden I see her walking around the van. She also knows how to get back in her car seat. I tell her over and over to get back in her seat and she just won't listen and even laughs. I even tried raising my voice and she just doesn't seem to care. I was so worried today because 2 highway patrols were driving next to me and my daughter is just walking around and standing on the back seat. I pulled over and put her back in her seat firmly. The minute I started driving she came back out and just kept doing it over and over. I really had to get somewhere right away and ended up being 1/2 hour late because I pulled over so many times. I felt so frustrated that I felt like crying.

: Have you figured out a way how to keep your child in the seat? I have tried practically everything except spanking or restraining her with anything besides the belt of the car seat.

How about giving her some pens or pencils and a coloring book while shes in the seat that might
occupy her, Or give her some toys.
Hope you find somthing soon that works!!
Good luck
Kelly
