: Shana,

: As you know, my kids are also biracial. I've been through alot of products with them and have finally found what seems to be a good regimen.

: What are you currently using for shampoo/conditioner, how often do you wash his hair, what does it look/feel like (is it soft or coarse, thick or thin, curly or straight, long or short). Have you ever had it cut, if so, what happened to it afterwards...did it grow back in differently.

: I would NOT recommend vaseline, you will never get it out.

: Let me know, and I'll try to help you out.

: Deb

: : Just curious if anyone can give me info on caring for my son's hair. He is of mixed race and his hair has become very kinky and hard to manage. He is only 14 mos and I don't want to put anything on him that may irritate his skin or burn his eyes! TIA!

Hi Debbie... my son's hair is short and curly and kinky. It is coarse in most areas. Right now I only wash it every other day, and I have been using Baby shampoo (which I know is drying it out). But my concern was burning his eyes. We have not cut his hair yet, I really don't want to. Thanks for any info.
