: Hi. I'm new to this board, also a new parent. My son is 3 weeks old, is keeping us up day and night, about to go nuts!!! Any suggestions? Please help.

Hang in there, it's tough! My son had colic for 3 months and cried for hours in the day, as well as the night.
The things we tried that worked for us were: running the dishwasher(the sound calmed him down), sound of the blowdryer or any "white noise" sound.
Sometimes going for a ride in the car would settle him, holding him standing only or rocking him standing.
We also tried Gripe water, and Ovol drops with mimimal results.
I would burp my son during and after feeding and we would also(not right after eating) bring his legs up to his chest gently to help relieve gas (this worked) or doing a bicycle motion with his legs.
Good Luck!
