: Hello there. I'm new to this forum, and was driven here by my 12-week-old daughter. All day long she is a content, happy, cuddly little girl. Almost every evening, however, she turns into an inconsolable screamer. This usually lasts 1-2 hours, and gets very frustrating for everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Let see, it could be lots of things. How do you put her to bed and do you have some type of schedule? She may also be sleeping way too much during the day and wants to party at night, could be colicky (over the counter Mylicon drops work good), or just doesn't doesn't feel like going to bed in which case if she is not wet, sick, have given Mylicon drops, then I would try a little crying it out. There is an article that I posted under a thread someone posted called "first time mom, help" and I love that article. It may be helpful to you.

Good luck. Give us an update.
