: : Wow 6 mths! My other 2 werent that long. I was thinking it might be the tubal and something might be wrong. I called my doc 3 weeks ago and he said if I didnt get my period by now(3 weeks) to call him back.

: Everyone is different. Some women get a period right away, some a few months after, some 6 months, and even longer if you are breast-feeding because while you are breast-feeding it signals the pituitary gland to produce hormones and makes your body think you are still pregnant. Your body is going through so many changes. Hormones are trying to stabilize. As long as you don't have a fever, foul-smelling discharge, redness or oozing at the incision site, I really would not worry. I know every doctor is different though. I don't understand why he would actually be concerned if you haven't had a period by 3 more weeks. Also, most doctors recommend 2 postpartum checkups after having a C-section. Have you gone to your first one?

i went at 3 weeks after and do not go back until Feb. I am not breast feeding. This was my third one
