: If he physically hurt her, then I would have called the police and had a police report written for simple assault. I would also write a letter to the store manager if he seems to be unavailable by telephone. It depends on how far you want to go with it and what point you are trying to prove....all these things will not help your daughter, but will open up a can of worms to cause trouble for him. You could call your local newspaper or television station and tell them what happened. If you plan on pressing charges, you will need to take her to the pedatrician to have her "injuries" documented.

: That is really unbelievable. As for your daughter, I would try to calm her and tell her that she wont see the man anymore and you wont go back to that store. Offer comforting things such as a drink or her favorite toy, stuffed animal to sleep with. Sit with her for a few minutes each night, etc. etc. etc.

: I'm not sure I would let it go easily, but I would think it through well.

: Hope this helps,
: Debbie

: : OK Parents I would like to have your help and advice. My children and I were shopping at a Learning Express Toy Store nearby to my home. I frequent this shop, since it is a childrens learning store. Well, Monday I was in there with my children, I had a bunch of toys in my hand (Christmas shopping) I handed my daughter a wooden puzzle to hold, which I had every intention on buying. Out of the back room came this salesman and he ripped the toy right out of my 2 year old daughters hands. Saying that she may be trying to rip the price tag off. In the process he scratched her and pinched her. My daughter was shakeing like she just saw a ghost! Now she hasn't slept since Monday and she keeps saying "THE MAN THE MAN" She is traumatized!! I do not feel that he had the right to touch her!! I did contact the Learning Express Main office and explained my situation and they gave me the run around saying that each store is indiv. owned and operated.. I have been trying to contact the stores owner but of course he is never available, yeah right!! Can anyone help me with this and give advice as to what I should do next??? Thanks a bunch!!! What would you do if this was your child??

Poor baby, Lets see i would call the police on him, or i would go to the store with the police and depand to talk with the owner. Or i would press charges on him. I can tell you he would not get away with what he did thats for sure, its not right he should have not done that.
