: I must admit that we are very lucky with Nicole in some respects. She eats generally the right things. Believe it or not, she prefers brocolli over chocolate.

: However, she is becoming VERY strong willed and if she does not want to eat, she won't. She will just use her hands, squeeze it and throw it on the floor. It may be a battle of wills because you can see her stare at me before she does it!

: Anyway, although she likes the right things, I think she is not eating enough.

: Anyone any methods to get a child to eat because she is told to rather than just because she feels like it?

OK I SAW THIS ON DR. PHIL HE SAYS THAT WHEN YOU SET YOUR CHILD DOWNN TO EAT WITH A PLATE OF FOOD AND THEY DO NOT EAT AND REFUSE PUT THE PLATE UP TILL THEY GET HUNGRY AND THEY WILL EAT WHEN THEY GET HUNGRY SO JUST KEEP DOING THIS AND EVENTALLY THEY WILL START EATING (I HOPE) MY DD IS 4 AND HAS GOOD EATING HABBITS TOO BUT ITS A STRUGGLE TO GET HER TO EAT ALL OF HER FOOD SHE WOULD RATHER HAVE SALID THAN PIZZA OR BROCCOLI AND CHEESE RATHER THAN SPAGETTI JUST KEEP ON TRYING HANG IN THERE IT WILL GET BETTER
