My motherinlaw & husband dontget along (he is her second child) As a result, she doesnt usually have anything positive to say & until I had children, this didnt bother me too much because the problem was really between them. Once I had my first child, she was ok until she found out that my mother was in the theatre when I had my caeserean (along with my hubby of course!) My mother being present at the birth was unplanned but ever since then, my motherinlaw has been impossible to deal with, accusing us of associating with my side of the family etc. She takes it out on us & consequently, this affects my daughter as she doesnt always have positive things to say to her (she can be good a lot of the time towards my daughter) I have always had a problem dealing with dominant & sarcastic people & she is all that in a nutshell. She doesnt really have much to do with us & doesnt see her grandchildren much either. Is it wrong for me to keep my children from her at times because I dont like her character or should I allow her to keep upsetting me just to keep the peace? Please help!!
