: Hey everybody, I couldn't resist taking a peek at this board after what I think has been months. Glad to see some familiar names - Elizabeth, Steve to name a few!

: Between two kids (well, three if I count my hubby!), a very demanding full time job and housework, I've had no time to come on here.

: Ashamed as I am, I have to admit that I am back because I need some advice. My thirteen month old won't sleep at night. It has now been 3 weeks since he wakes up 2-4 times a night. He gives us no warning, just wakes up screaming and will not settle until I pick him up, cuddle him, sing to him and pat him back to sleep. CIO has failed to work. Needless to say, I am exhausted. I just read that post below on sleep and I must say it was a useful article. I am hoping this is a passing phase and that my little one will return to his sleepy self soon.

Im guessing it could be gas or a ear infection, if he is screaming, has he ever in his little life every woke up screaming like this? If not and he keeps this up like tonight or tomorrow i would bring him to the doctors and have him checked for a ear infection.
