Oh Steve, I feel terrible for Mrs. Steve, and I can sympathize with her completely. You know my daugher has DS and I was in the middle of tons of health issues and therapies with her, when I found myself pregnant when she was 8 months old. (we did as you guys did, didn't think it would happen so fast - took one month - and took me off b/c) I was terribly sick, vomiting all day, everyday thru my 10th week and spent 3 times in the hospital for fluids. The nausea lasted a long time - into my 24th week - but they did put me on SAFE medicine for it. Some people are very uptight about what they take in pregnancy, I was during my first pregnancy, but during the second I was feeling like Mrs. Steve is, then I felt so sick I just wanted to lay down and die, and then of course I felt very guilty. I knew I had another child to take care of, that was here, so I opted for the pills. The medicine is called Zofran or Phenergan - they actually had me on both alternating for about 10 weeks. B6 didn't work at all for me, Sea Band wrist bands didnt work either, but they're worth a shot (they're approved for pregnancy nausea now). My husband felt helpless and I'm not trying to be smart, but when you feel that bad, almost everyone is helpless, unless it's your own mother and even then she can get on your nerves! The worst part after that is knowing that Hannah doesn't understand what is wrong with her mommy, wanting to be there for her, but just cant be fully because you feel so bad.

I'm not trying to make this worse, but in order for you to understand that I understand and what we ultimately did, I had to give a brief story.

I really hope she feels better.

: I wish there was something I could do, but man, she's miserable. The combo of all-day nausea and having to take care of a 1.5-year-old is really wearing on Mrs. Steve. She said tonight that she was feeling guilty about it, but kind of wishes this pregnancy would just go away.
